"Invocation of the Muse" 40' (W) x 90' (L)

"Wanting to do something meaningful for my building wrap project, I gravitated to a 1998 collage by the same title. With serious modifications, I was able to transform the idea into a new format and turn the painting into a ceremonial act for the Bay Area.

A 40' x 90' building wrap, that will hang above the city for a year had better have some significance for the community. So, setting myself up as a shaman, I'm calling upon Erato to bestow her blessings on the Tampa Bay Area.

The means for communicating my plea are prayer candles, the written word and technology. God is present in the form of two Christmas ornaments and She/He may also direct the muse, Erato, to lavish unquestionable creativity upon our community."
